Project Brief:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The proposed Project is located on Barandoo River, a right tributary of the Indus River between Mujahidin and Dadam villages of District Torghar. The Project area is located at about 173 km from Peshawar towards the North-East and 230 km from Islamabad in the North-West direction in District Torghar at 34\u00b0-46\u2019 to 34\u00b0- 42\u2019 latitudes and 72o<\/sup> -77\u2019 to 72o<\/sup> -72\u2019 longitudes. Geographically, it is bordered to the north by District Shangla & District Batgram, to the south by District Swabi\/Mardan, to the west by District Buner, and to the East by District Mansehra.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

  • Contract Agreement signed with the Consultants \u201cM\/s. ACE, NESPAK, AGES & BAK JV\u201d on December 30, 2022.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Inception Report has been submitted and thereafter commented on by the PEDO.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • The Feasibility Review Report has been submitted and thereafter commented on by the PEDO.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Topographic Survey has been Completed.<\/span><\/p><\/li>

  • Transmission Line Survey in Progress.<\/span><\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Challenges\/Delays Faced During the Project:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

    • A delay has occurred in the PC-I projected dates due to the incumbent processes involved in the Bidding and thereafter Award of the Consultancy Agreement.<\/span><\/li>
