The PMU meant for Phase-II of MMHPP’s is looking after all the projects of phase-I and completion report based on the detailed follow up visits of PMU and P&D Department staff were framed and submitted to all concerned offices. Almost all the completed MMHPP’s were found operational and the local community is taken proper care of these units. The larger MMHPP’s with capacity greater than 200KW have been handed over to the NGO’s through variation orders for its operation and maintenance.
The devastating flood of 2022, however damage 114 No of MMHPP’s for which PC-I is framed and is submitted to provincial government for approval. The restoration work could not be taken in hand as the PC-I is lying unapproved due to ban on such like activities in the tenure of care taker government.
