Solarization of CM Secretariat & House KP

Project Brief:

From the recent past the energy crisis is adversely affecting the national economy and common Lot. The Federal Government and Provincial Government are extending all priority to the energy sector to enhance production but due to restrained economy the total potential especially in hydroelectricity could not be undertaken by the Government.

Under the situation Public and Private Sectors are exploring all alternate energy options including solar, wind and tow generation hardware. To address the issue of non-availability or totally unreliable electricity the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Energy Department has installed Solar Energy Systems in both Public and Private buildings across the province.

Total 376 kW solar panels grid tied through inverters by installation of Bi-Directional energy meters in 7 buildings of Chief Minister Secretariat and house. This system is sharing electrical load demand of civil secretariat in week days and exporting excess generation to national grid, reducing burden on national grid and saving in electricity bills.
