Meeting on issues of Hydropowe

Meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Advisor to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Energy and Power Mr. Himayatullah Khan with the Project Directors of Hydropower Projects at PEDO House on 24th February, 2021. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss and resolve all Hydropower project related issues and to speedup the progress on all ongoing Hydropower projects.

CEO Visit to Reshun Power Hous

Chief Executive Officer PEDO inspected Reshun Power House and has examined the   quality of work and inspected the damages to the approach road of the Power Station. 
Chief Executive Officer stressed that C&W Department will be approached at highest level to rehabilitate the Reshun valley approach road so that the project is completed at scheduled time. 

MOU Signing

MOU Signing of 1 Billion $ Investment with Korean Company (KHNP):

MoU has been signed between GoKP and Korean Company "KHNP" for its joint development as Public Private Partnership for Spat Gah Hydropower Project, near Dassu, District Kohistan, KP.

Feasibility study of the project has already been conducted and the project will be completed in 5 to 6 years.

Outcomes:
1. Generation of 496 MW
2. Gross Revenue of 3 Billion Rupees annually
